Welcome To Education

Welcome to The Scholars. I hope the site will provide you with the information you need about Scholars and its educational programmes.

Scholars has developed into a large and thriving school over the last few years and is now entering into new ventures. We are continuing our journey, always striving to improve but retaining the atmosphere of a happy, productive school community, where all are welcome.

Scholars is situated nearing and, close to Ambala City, with extensive buildings and grounds that meet the needs of nearly 700 students. The school is split into two sections for administration,Primary and Secondary Sections. Primary school is

made up of the Early Years (Nursery to Grade 1) and Primary (Grade 2-5 ) while Secondary School covers (Grade 6-10). In terms of curriculum, we follow the Central Board Of Secondary Education (CBSE) from Nursery to Grade 10. Scholars prides itself on its warmth and welcoming nature; cosmopolitan culture; open attitude towards students, teachers and parents; safe & secure environment; well trained teachers; modern infrastructure; small class strengths; low student – teacher ratio and global curriculum.

Scholars believes that the primary purpose of a school is to guide the child in the discovery of themselves and their world…. to identify and nurture their talents. Just as every seed contains the future tree, each child is born with infinite potential. Scholars sees children as seeds to be nurtured – here the teacher is a gardener who helps to bring out the potential already present in the child. Scholars is the best possible environment for children to grow, to blossom and to evolve.

The school motto is Learning Today, Leading Tomorrow. Our aim is to educate each child holistically to reach their full potential; as our Mission suggests, we are committed to the development of students who are open-minded, balanced, environmentally conscious and principled citizens of the world who will strive for excellence and cherish life-long learning. We believe that excellence will only be achieved by students who are learning in a happy and secure, yet challenging, environment.

A major challenge for all schools is to ensure students learn and develop the skills they will need to live and work in a world that is increasingly global and ever more technologically advanced. To do this we are moving from content-driven to skills-based learning in order to help students become self-engaged, life-long learners.
